Conducts sample analysis with data interpretation and basic troubleshooting.
Conducts method development and method validation experiments.
Assists with general housekeeping and assist other departmental personnel as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine sample analysis Perform method development and validation experiments Prepare solutions for use in analysis Processes sample results including instrumental analysis Maintain laboratory supply inventory Enter data into database Maintain confidential information Interact with the community and employees Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
B.
S.
in chemistry or biology with at least one year of direct laboratory experience B.
S/B.
A in a related science with at least three years of direct laboratory experience or Five years of direct laboratory experience or Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered with management approval.
Skills & Abilities:
Good organizational skills.
Displays versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations, some of which may be difficult and/or non-routine.
Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and inventory, utilizing the appropriate software.
An attitude for quality, an eye for detail, the ability to follow written instructions and work with a minimum of supervision.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
