Job SummarySocial Media Managers/Integrated Communications will gain hands on experience with leadership in social engagement through an online presence, in addition to strategic communication including newsletters, digital displays, RecWell representation across campus, and other duties as assigned.
This role is responsible for supervision, content, design, and online interaction.
This position is responsible for content, design and online interaction across RecWell social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
This position will manage a student team that collectively creates content and writing by request.
Position Responsibilities Must be actively enrolled at Purdue University, Purdue Global, local accredited college, or local high school Ability to maintain confidential information Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Flexible and dependable with a strong attention to detail Problem solving, logic, organizational, and reasoning skills Customer service oriented Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines Ability to work independently and with a team Working knowledge of Facebook, Snapchat, & Instagram Ability to approach new people in person and online Effective verbal and written communication skills Availability to work some nights and weekends dependent on RecWell scheduled eventsTransferable Skill Development Demonstrate professional verbal and non-verbal communication in all interactions Demonstrate enthusiasm Create content across RecWell social media channels Create and manage contests and polls to increase reach of target audience.
Developing new media campaigns through critical thinking and creative processes Engaging customers and members of the Purdue community to engage with RecWell programs and information.
Readily showing patrons how to access the social media platforms and providing on-the-spot demonstration of social media use Using e-mail and other sources to report patron feedback and comments to RecWell leadership Taking charge of a situation either individually to fill a need or motivating others to take action Completing tasks without having to be followed-up with or reminded and can be relied upon and trusted to carry out commitments Staying up to date with current social media trends and online presenceFLSA StatusNon-Exempt Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Confidentiality Consumer Engagement Critical Thinking Customer Service Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
