Job SummaryServe as host and tour guide of the Purdue University campus for prospective graduate students as well as special groups visiting the Purdue Graduate School.
Lead Admissions presentations to visiting groups.
Communicate with various graduate departments and their prospective students, as well as assist with the Global Ambassador advisory group and corresponding social media, blogs and videos.
QualificationsRequired:
Current Purdue Graduate StudentAbility to lead and direct walking tours during the full academic year including spring, summer, fall and winter seasons.
Strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work a flexible scheduleEnthusiastic with a strong belief in the Purdue brandCore CompetenciesKnowledge of the layout of Purdue campus including history as well as current events.
Knowledge of the surrounding Lafayette/West Lafayette communityExperience with social media, blogs, and video editingResponsibilities Include:
Scheduling Tours with individuals as well as groups of prospective graduate students using the Graduate School CRM.
Communicate with individuals to determine their needs when visiting campus including transportation and special requests.
Coordinate campus tours with attendees' graduate program visits contacts in various departments throughout campus.
Facilitate walking tours for prospective graduate students as well as Purdue Graduate School guests, as well as provide presentations to groups interested in attending the Purdue University Graduate School.
Assist with the Global Ambassador advisory group and corresponding social media, blogs and videos.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
