Director of Research & Development and working closely with our Marketing & Operations teams.
This position will be primarily responsible for providing technical leadership to continue to improve our current product portfolio & to drive development of new product categories from bench, to pilot scale up, and through full commercialization.

Director of R&D, but with expected autonomy you will:
Provide technical leadership to develop new products & product categories from bench to pilot scale-up, and through full commercializationWork cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and optimization initiatives of current products and manufacturing linesDevelop testing methods and data analysis tools to help build in-depth understanding of products, ingredients, processing conditions and equipment used in company operationSupport creation of new processes and procedures as the company growsProvide guidance and training to laboratory technicians, new food scientists and other co-workers on experimental design, testing protocols, operation of equipment/instruments, and other as neededThink critically, balance multiple tasks, and be flexible wearing whateverhatis needed to support cross-functional teams and help meet company goalsContribute to our knowledge base, thought leadership, and company culture through your unique character and skillsTechnical
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Food Science or Chemical/Biological Systems Engineering required.
Master s Degree preferred7
years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food product development, laboratory and/or pilot plant settingsExperience in any of the following strongly preferredFood safetybackground in natural antimicrobials or HACCP/PCQI certifications are a strong plusFood engineering & continuous improvementFood packagingbackground in flexible or modified atmosphere packaging are a strong plusFood product developmentbackground in bakery, high protein/low carb or clean label foods are a strong plusAbility to communicate effectively at all levels of the organizationHighly collaborative with the ability to lead through influenceSelf-starter and intellectually curious.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
