Lead Research Technician

Job SummaryProvide a wide range of support and assistance to the researchers in the lab.
Assist in liaising with study subjects and preparing materials for studies.
Provide basic assistance to researchers in manipulating, computing, and analyzing data.
Support researchers in procedures in scheduling meetings and recruiting participants for research studies.
Assist with other support functions and duties as needed.
Required Bachelor's degree in psychology, HDFS, SLHS, or related fields 2 years of experience.
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to support researchers in handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate to build relationships with individuals at all levels within the lab.
Ability to provide basic assistance to researchers in manipulating, computing, and analyzing data.
Ability to work in-person on Purdue's main campus in West Lafayette, IN.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
