The position is embedded in the funded multi-national project Global East Religiosity and Changing Religious Landscapes, which includes surveys of individuals, mapping religious sites, and the comparative historical studies of Christianity in East Asian societies.
We are seeking an energetic and independent researcher who has a strong background in Geographical Information System, spatial statistics, and data management.
To qualify for the position, a candidate must have completed a PhD by the time of employment, and the degree may be in sociology, psychology, political science, or related areas.
Demonstrated knowledge of GIS and research experience of spatial studies are required.
Research experience of East Asian geography is preferred.
