This role will serve as an Administrative Clerk for Recreation & Wellness Programs by compiling, editing and reviewing related data records and reports, manuals and procedures, and pertinent outreach efforts.
The role will assist with data entry, reporting and analysis in related software applications--including some tasks that involve sensitive data.
As the Administrative Clerk, you will provide assistance for all RecWell Programs, Boiler Kids Camp and Purdue Crew while serving as the receptionist for the Recreation and Wellness Administrative Suite.

What We're Looking For:
Required:
High School Diploma/GED.
Three years of experience in an office environment or providing support services for administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) & Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to learn other applicable software applications.
Excellent office management skills including word processing, content & context editing, composing correspondence, scheduling meetings.
Excellent communication skills, good judgment, diplomacy, and professionalism.
Ability to influence and build productive working relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and produce high quality work with attention to detail.
Ability to independently resolve issues as they arise and able to weigh the importance and urgency level of the issue.
Preferred:
Knowledge of University policies and procedures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
