We are currently hiring for the position of Account Research Specialist.
In this role, under the direction of the Business Manager, you will manage a group of faculty research portfolios in the assigned area.
Expedite research proposal processing from submission to post-award.
Promote investigator team communications and assist in resolving issues.
In coordination with the Business Manager, prepare budget projections and coordinate reporting processes.
Maintain fiscal and administrative controls to ensure all funds are expended in accordance with University and sponsor policies and procedures.
Serve as liaison with participants, sponsors, subcontractors, and other University offices.
Assist with answering key operational questions on behalf of the principal investigator.
Research Account Specialist positions typically work 100% remotely but hybrid variations exist.

BA/BS One (1) year of account management, financial management, or related experience Other Requirements:
Ability to analyze, interpret and implement University policies and procedures Strong verbal/written communication skills Planning, problem-solving, organizational, project management, and customer service skills Ability to influence and build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels Must possess a learning orientation to changing technology impacting business processes, e.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
