Summary:
The Administrative Manager provides high-level administrative support to the School Head of Civil Engineering.
Assist the School Head, faculty, and staff with daily operations and administrative matters.
Serve as administrative supervisor for area administrative assistants.
Support key projects and school committees.
Manage area administrative assistants and daily operations of an administrative or academic resource unit.
Interpret and convey university and federal policies and procedures.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or other relevant discipline A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing high-level administrative support and supervision, in business operations, in higher education, or related field In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (For example, an Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience or a High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience) Preferred:

Ability to balance multiple and varied tasks with access to highly confidential information Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to prioritize conflicting priorities Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
