Summary:
The Center for Animal Welfare Science (CAWS) Program Administrator Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of programs.
This includes but is not limited to facilitating communications with internal and external constituents by acting as liaison for the Director of CAWS while maintaining their calendar.
This individual will serve as the point of contact and assist with planning and execution of all CAWS engagement and outreach programs.
Events include the annual symposium, special seminars, workshops and short courses.
This is in addition to assisting with purchasing and oversight of expenditures, creating and maintaining databases, and generating reports to track progress.
There is an expectation to design, compose, and distribute the CAWS newsletter; ensuring timely updates and maintenance of website content, and promotional materials for CAWs.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with onboarding and supervision of any graduate students, technicians, and student workers associated with the CAWS program.
Required:
Bachelor's degree 2 year of experience in program administration, or directly relevant area Will consider equivalencies, Associates degree in Business Administration combined with 3 years' experience or high school diploma and 5 years' experience.
Preferred:
Degree in Business Administration or closely related field Experience in University Administration procedures and policies Additional Information:
