7K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Job Summary The Department of Ag Economics is seeking a Customer Relationship Project Manager.
This position will lead and support the development and execution of educational and research projects in the Center for Food and Agricultural Business.
In this role, you will work independently to develop relationships with current and potential clients, collaborate with faculty, staff and clients to support the innovative, high quality educational events and create effective communications within the food and agribusiness industry.
What You'll Be Doing:
On-going work with clients and faculty in the program development process.
This process requires a keen understanding of the marketplace, the organization and the educational objectives.
Additionally, understanding educational program flow and design, and the ability to link classroom content and program objectives to company goals Serve liaison between project team, both internal and customer, and faculty instructors Leading and monitoring project plans to ensure the content/materials development is complete and delivered on time for web and print needs, with a focus on quality, consistency and correctness Work with Team Leads to drive accountability against project plans Facilitate full implementation of project plan to ensure processes are designed to support stakeholder needs On-going, relationship management with key clients with the goal of developing new program opportunities as well as selling open enrollment programs Actively seek and cultivate opportunities Perform wide range of activities intended to maintain the Center's linkages with clientele including getting Center faculty and staff in the trade press, monitoring the best in class/state of the art innovations in adult management education, exploring new ways of evaluating program impact that will help in quantifying Return on Learning for clients What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's in Agricultural Business, Marketing, Management, Project Management, Education or Agriculture 2 years' experience in a relationship management, educational program development or project management role In lieu of degree consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required experience (Associate's degree
4 years of experience; HS/GED
6 years of experience) Strong relationship building and account management skills Highly self-motivated Strict attention to detail Ability to handle multiple projects with tight timelines and limited supervision Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Excellent listening skills Base knowledge of management education topics Travel in-state, out of state, and internationally to meet with potential clients and/or implement educational programs; travel will often include weekends and evenings Nice to Have:
MS or MBA in Agribusiness, Management or Marketing 2 years' experience working with faculty in a higher education environment to design, develop and support delivery of professional development content to adult learners Experience in the food and agribusiness industries Experience planning and executing professional sales calls or meetings What We'd Like You to Know:
