This hospital will be the first hospital of its kind in the West Lafayette/Lafayette area.

Location Our new facility will be located in West Lafayette, just off 52W across from Meijer.
Construction is set to start by the beginning of the new year and last 105 days with a plan to be open by the end of April 2024.

Position Overview We are looking for someone who can supervise and oversee the business activities of the hospital in partnership with the Managing DVM & RDO, all while making sure the culture of the hospital is never compromised.
These duties include hiring and training hospital staff, monitoring key performance indicators, managing the hospital software and implementing safety and security procedures.
The Practice Manager must create and maintain a positive culture and work environment.
The Practice Manager exercises sound judgment and the willingness and capability to make decisions.
The Practice Manager is responsible for all accounting and financial control functions, including financial planning, budgeting, control and reporting systems as well as financial analyses.
The Practice Manager ensures the hospital's management team has adequate visibility into operations so that the team members know how the hospital is performing, and how they contribute to achieving the goals.
The Practice Manager will also be highly involved in setting up the hospital from the ground up; including but not limited to SOP's, training programs, PIMS setup, staffing and workflow, and much more! Reporting Structure Directly reports to the Regional Director of Operations.
Duties - Oversee the daily operations of the veterinary practice - Manage and supervise staff members, including veterinary technicians and receptionists - Ensure efficient scheduling and coordination of appointments - Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment - Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations - Assist with client communication and education - Coordinate with veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care - Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner Qualifications - Experience working in a veterinary practice or animal care setting - Knowledge of aseptic technique and veterinary terminology - Proficiency in dog handling and animal restraint techniques - Familiarity with medical collection procedures, including blood draws and sample collection - Understanding of animal husbandry practices and basic dog training principles - Ability to provide veterinary critical care in emergency situations - Strong organizational and leadership skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
