50 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago As a Student Account and ID Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in representing the Bursar Office with professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.
Your responsibilities will include creating Purdue ID cards and setting up Mobile Credentials for members of the Purdue community based on their assigned roles and privileges within various systems.
Additionally, you'll provide essential clerical support for the Bursar Office, assisting with customer inquiries related to tuition, fees, financial aid disbursement, tax statements, and other billing processes.
Answer customer questions and requests whether in person, by telephone, or email, including all aspects of tuition/fees, financial aid disbursement, tax statements, and other issues impacting billing and aid disbursement processes.
Serve as primary backup for other areas in the office as determined by other duties as assigned.
Utilize the Transact System to run audit reports, imports, and assist with door access and Boiler Express.
The pay for this position will start around $16.
50 per hour, plus benefits.

High school diploma/GED A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, office administration, account clerk or related experience Ability to provide great customer service and share front desk duties to greet customers and provide service in a timely and consistent manner Ability to take initiative to identify and resolve problems, work independently and in a team environment Ability to handle multiple tasks and proficiently perform computerized data entry and report generation Ability to understand federal laws/regulations and University policies and explain to students/parents Good oral/written communication skills Good personal computer skills and knowledge of Outlook/software, office equipment Good accounting and account reconciliation skills Ability to work under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and multi-task Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, file management and records, forms and other office procedures and terminology Preferred:
Experience in a high volume/fast paced workplace Purdue University experience Knowledge of SAP, Transact, and Banner Additional Information:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
