Program Assistant (Military)

Serve as the point of contact for the organizations administrative and supply functions. Assist applicants/selectees in preparation of enrollment and contract documents for the program. Monitor pay reports for proper payments to the universities/schools. Provide staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management. Assist organization by coordinating with the university to schedule and coordinate various facilities for events. Who May Apply:

Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves coordinating workloads, updating and maintaining budgets, manpower, and staffing. Assisting and planning conferences and meetings, and help develop and prepare recurring reports. All other candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-06. All other applicants must meet the specialized experience at the GS-06 level is defined as:
Experience in the which includes work that involves 1) providing clerical and administrative support to a supply program involving issue and turn-in procedures 2)providing clerical support to Cadets by reviewing and submitting scholarship packets, military personnel actions for accuracy, and ensuring military pay is correct. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
